My Void is Now Filled

I was browsing through my blog today and realized that there were no pictures of Berkeley for a while....so I had to fill my void. We have lots of random pointless photo sessions in our house!

Another Weekend Away

These are the infamous Sprinkles cupcakes. They are somewhat a fad over there. We waited in line for about 20 minutes and they were $4 a cupcake! What a bargain......sheesh! I give the presentation a 10 and the actual cupcakes an 8. I was glad we experienced what all the hype was about.

I was fortunate enough to go to Newport Beach this weekend for a girls trip with my family. There were 8 of us girls total. It was my 3 sisters, 3 sister-in-laws and a cousin. We stayed in a time share condo that was on a huge hill over looking the ocean. It was quite beautiful. The festivites included lots of delicious meals, running on the beach, scrapbooking, LOTS of talking, shopping at fashion island and south coast plaza, pedicures, waiting in a long line for Sprinkles cupcakes, swimming, and sleeping on a couch bed. The weather was absolutely beautiful! It was about 80 degrees each day! Thank you Todd for being a trooper and watching my sick baby, and thank you Lori as well! I had a really great time and it was so nice to go on my first vacation baby free!

Some Left Over Randoms

Just some of the pictures from my visit to California. They include a day at the museum, a day snowboarding where I look like a boy, a fan I found inside my moms car....who has that stuff in their car?, a photo shoot picture that my sister took, and Berkeley playing piano.

This is Purely For Me....

Today a new prophet was appointed after our dear President Hinckley's Death last Sunday. His counselors are President Henry B. Eyring and Second Counselor Dieter F. Uchtdorf. What an amzing process that goes on. I am excited to have them as our new leaders and examples.

This is What Makes Babies Happy!

What a treat it was to go to Disneyland again this year! I seriously love that place and I can never get enough. Todd's grandparents take us there each year, and I always look SO forward to it. A couple highlights include......delicious room service, good long conversations, princess breakfast, the parade, seeing family, walking 5 miles a day, hotel naps in the middle of the day, Berkeley LOVING the rides, meeting Snow White, and seeing my baby so happy.

Some of the not so fun parts of Disneyland.......Berkeley freaking out in line because she wants down, and by freaking out I mean wrestling for her life, my sister in law having the flu and throwing up on the bus on the way there, Todd not being there, and eating so many calories in one day I could have fed a small country.

I stayed in California for the rest of the week to hang out with my family. I went to my sisters house for a couple days and took advantage of a good photo sesh.

Blurgh....

Once again, my cell phone is out of commission. No, I didn't drop it in the toilet like last time....this time is better! Today I put some delish string cheese in my purse for a snack for later. As the day progressed it got a little hotter, and my cheese got a little softer. Little did I know, that when the cheese was torn from the others it didn't rip on the perferrated line, it went much farther, leaving a leak in the plastic. So with out my knowledge, the cheese formed a gross gooey cheesy liquid and leaked ALL OVER MY PURSE. So now my purse has leaked cheese along the whole bottom of it which is showing from the outside, and you guessed it, it leaked on my phone killing the poor little thing. And of course because I just so recently got a new phone I cannot renew my contract, so I will be paying full price on my new phone. BLURGH!

Hannah Montana

Why is it that when you ask people to take a picture they can never get it focused? SO frustrating!

We went to the Hannah Montana concert the other night and it was so fun! I went along with Todd's 2 sisters, his aunt, cousin, and niece. We went to dinner first and then the concert so it was about a 7 hour long ordeal, but it was still fun to do! She was really fun to watch and had a good show. Thanks so much Ross and Lori! It was a nice treat.
