I Feel Loved!

I will just say I need to have a birthday more often! So many people have remembered and made me feel so good and loved on my birthday. I got cards in the mail, parents coming to town, emails, texts, phone calls, presents, birthday songs, lunches, drawings, and of course blog comments. It seriously makes me feel so good. Thank you everyone for loving me, for being good friends, and making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Happy Birthday Me!

I am officially 24 today. It has been a fun and interesting weekend. Last night we went out with friends to dinner and a movie for my birthday, which was so much fun. I love it when you just sit around the table and just talk and you have no idea what time it is and how long you have been there, that was last night. It was so fun. Friday, my friend Krista and I went on a "date" without our babies to lunch and a movie, so that was a real treat. Then poor Todd, yesterday was determined to find me the perfect gift, so he started off at Chandler mall, didn't find anything, so drove all the way to Scottsdale mall (about 30 minute drive) looked and looked, didn't find anything, so back to Chandler mall, and reluctantly got me the purse that I have been coveting for months now. So you can imagine how ECSTATIC I was when I opened it. Thank you hubby, you are the best ever! Today I went to church and taught my 4 year olds. I told them it was my birthday and I had them guess how old I was. The guesses were 5, 10, and 300.... a little off. My parents came to town for 24 hours so they went to church with us, and had Sunday dinner, and then they were off. Soon after we got home from church Todd found out the devastating news that the Town Homes that he has been building were burned down last night. AAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! Can you say CRAZY...SCARY... UNLUCKY...FRIGHTENING!! Because that's what we thought. So poor Todd is stressing about all that while I make dinner, yes I said "I", and then serve my family up, and then get stuck with the many dishes after. So in a nutshell, so far being 24 is stressful....my last days as 23 though were the best ever!

Sweet Fathers Day for my Sweet Fathers

Today was so special, very relaxed, but special. The day started with a phone call to my dad to tell him I love him, then I made Todd's favorite, blueberry muffins. "Berkeley" gave him his present which was pictures for his office and a movie, and then we went and visited my family, and then off to dinner with Todd's family. It was fun and relaxed, and I realized how much I love my family, all of Todd's family, and all of mine. I am so fortunate to have so many good people in my life and know that they all love me. I'm one lucky girl.

I Think She Has Enough Hair

Monumental moment, I know. Berkeley officially can wear a barrette. (wow, I have no life!) She looks so big I cant stand it!

Today Todd and I went swimming which is my favorite thing to do with him. I am a horrible swimmer so he gave me some tips and I think I improved. Berkeley loves it too. She just hangs out in her little floating device and has a grand ol' time. I love weekends when we can hang out as a family. Its the best!

The Worst Feeling in the World

I'm so mad at myself. I dropped my phone in the toilet today. I was so quick to grab it that I didn't even think about the fact that I was putting my hand in a public toilet. Gross! I grabbed it super fast but it didn't help anything. Within seconds it shut off. I dried it off and tried to let it dry out, but no luck so far. The worst part is that I had just bought this phone about 6 months ago!!! So now I feel distant from the world. I have no ones phone number, and barely anyone can reach me because no one knows my house phone! What a way to ruin my day!

My New Geeky Hobby

Hi, My name is JiLLian, and I'm and addict. I have never been a video game person ever in my life, mostLy because my mom wouLd not let me have them, until now! Now that we have the awesome Nintendo Wii, we have some new awesome games to go with it. Super Paper Mario is my new hobby/obsession. We got it Thursday, and I have been pLaying all weekend, to the point where Todd is mad at me because I am not spending time with him. When did I become such a gamer geek?? The worst part is that I even went as far as to look up cheat codes onLine. I know, pathetic!.... But yet, so fun. Of course it is not at the point of being THAT bad, so that is why I can joke around about it. I just love technoLogy.

Baby chub is the cutest. We are grateful that our baby is very well fed and obviously a very happy baby!!! We love her legs the best!

Baby Oscar

Here is Heidi and Tanner's little baby Oscar. He was 6 pounds and 2 ounces and she was in labor for about 45 and pushed him out in 2 pushes! I am jealous. I pushed for and HOUR AND A HALF!!!! Gag.... But he is so sweet. I want to see him so bad!
