South Beach Miami

I don't even know where to begin in trying to explain our fantastic trip!!! We went on a cruise with Todd's 2 sisters and their husbands to Key West, Florida, and Cozumel, Mexico, ending and beginning in Fort Lauderdale. The trip was seriously so amazing. Best times on the ship include: great pizza at 10:30pm every night, great nightly entertainment including dancers/singers, comedian, gymnast, game shows, karioke, dancing, talking, and eating ice cream, laying out with the wind keeping you cool, EATING, and sleeping so good because there was no window in our room. Faves off the ship.... Scuba diving for the VERY FIRST TIME!!!! I was nervous for about an hour prior to diving, I think I had a serious fear of doing it, but I am so glad I did it because it was AMAZING.... traveling around Key West, watching Todd snorkel by himself for an hour straight, and lay out on the beach. The definite highlight of the trip HAS to be hands down mine and Todd's karioke performance. It was a spur of the moment call on my part and I put down Todd's name with mine, fully knowing that he would totally do it with me. We performed Love Shack...its a perfect song, man and woman parts, upbeat and fun, and I happened to have that one memorized. So I don't want to brag or anything, but it was a major hit. We are talking people standing up and clapping and yelling for us, and if you could just imagine, me, kind of spazzing out dancing and running with the crowd. It was such a hit that people for the rest of the cruise would come up to us and tell us how much they loved our karioke. Todd was such a trooper. To top it all of when our ship got back in we spent the day in Miami in South Beach. It was definately an adventure....lots of different people, lots of condos, and LOTS of amazing expensive cars. The trip was so amazing and I was so lucky to be able to go!!!

My Little Fish

Berkeley started swim lessons last week, and at first I thought I was hearing the most excruciating cry my little girl has ever let out. It lasted 2 days, and now on day 5 she is loving everything about the water. She is my little fish. I took her swimming on Saturday and practiced some of her new moves and she loved it. She wanted to keep swimming but I made her get out. I love seeing her so happy in the water. I remember being able to swim for hours and loving every second of it! Im glad she is having such a fun time!

I Love Being a Mom!

Probably the sweetest Berkeley moment to date was this past mother's day. She had no idea she was even being so sweet, but I just about went weak when I picked her up from Nursery and she had this little bouquet of blue flowers for me. She held on to them with a death grip and would not actually give them to me, but it was probably the cutest thing ever because it just showed me how big she is getting!!! When I got home the night before Todd had gotten me a balloon and flowers which was also a very sweet gesture considering I had just gotten home from a vacation just for me! I have 2 people who I love so much and I know they love me. I love being a mother and a wife!

Girls Trip to LA

No I do not have a second home in California, although by the looks of it, it looks like I need one! Last weekend Todd was nice enough to take care of Berkeley and let me go to LA for a girls weekend. Just call it a mothers day gift to myself! It was pretty fun... I saw a lot of new things that I had never seen before even though I have been there a hundred times! My fave of the trip was a restaurant called Ketchup which is on Sunset. It was SO good. They had like 5 different kinds of Ketchup and 3 different kinds of fries. Another fun part was the fact that in my whole life living in the LA area I RARELY saw anyone famous. Well, just in the 2 days I was there I saw Pauly Shore driving next to us sticking his head out of his window and we saw Tim Meadows from Saturday Night Live at the movies!!! I had a really fun trip and I am lucky enough to have a husband let me go out of town like every other day!

At Last....Back to Normal

I went to a BYU mens volleyball game with Danielle and her friends. They played at Long Beach State. It was really fun and the guys jump so unbelievably high!

Guitar Hero night...I am the only person I know that sits while they play guitar hero.

Life has been a little out of sorts lately. Berkeley and I went to California to visit my family again, and we were there for a week. We had a great time as usual. We have so much fun staying at my sister Danielle's house. She has 5 kids, and Berkeley is between her 2 youngest kids, so Berkeley loves to play over there. Then me and my sister get to hang out too and get to do what we want to do together. This time we got a little crazy and decided to drive an hour with 4 kids to the Palm spring outlets. We were on a mission to find True Religion jean shorts. Of course, we get there and no shorts in the whole store!!! I was a little mad....but we didn't come home empty handed! The worst was I forgot Berkeley's stroller, so it was a little crazy with 4 kids and all. We also went to a children's museum with my mom and sister. Berkeley loved the Clifford exhibit, and especially meeting Clifford. She has this weird obsession with people in animal outfits....she loves them! Friday night my 3 sisters and I had a night out which started with dinner, then the movie Baby Mama, and ended at my sister Ashley's house with a guitar hero tournament. We ended up talking for a few more hours, so we didn't get home until about 2! Another "fun" adventure I had was that I lost my wallet. Yes, I did just lose my phone...twice, and yes, I just lost my wallet. Am I going a little crazy? I think so...am I maybe losing my mind a little bit? Yes, probably! So half the week I had no source of money, so I had to resort to asking to borrow money from my parents. It was very nostalgic. Come to find out, my Chevron card now has $1000 dollars charged on to it just in the last 4 days. That's a lot of gas! So I am still in the process of recuperating from that terrible experience.

I got home on Monday, and had to go to the doctors as soon as I got in. Berkeley has an ear infection again! Blurgh! Then on Tuesday I was preparing for my home show all day and was running around like a crazy person. Wednesday I started watching my brothers 6 kids....yes, I said 6, plus Berkeley makes 7......until Friday which in the midst of it all, I had to take 2 finals. So now Saturday is here and life is finally normal and easy again! No more lost wallets, no more ear infections, no more 20 kids to take care of, no more home shows, just me and my family hanging out us 3 again. I told Todd we don't hang out enough just us two and he reminded me of all this craziness, and then I realized its my fault we don't hang out! oops...

We Goin To Celebrate and Have a Good Time

Well, we are due for a couple of celebrations in the Farnsworth house hold this week. First, the semester is over and I have finished my 2 classes and am SO happy they are over. Second, Todd has been accepted to USD (University of San Diego) and University of San Fransisco , so go Todd! Still, no decisions have been made, we are still w a i t i n g to see what we are going to do........... story of our lives right now! And last and most important Todd is Graduating!!!!!!! Woo Hoo! Its been a long journey but he finally did it and with flying colors! I couldn't be more proud of how he has done and all the time and effort he has put in to get good grades. I am happy to say that my husband is a College Graduate!! Todd being the Ebenizer Scrooge that he is of course does not want to do the whole actual graduation ceremony, so I wont have any memories of him graduating, so this blog is the only celebretory thing we have going on!
