I Just Love Her!

Berkeley was in a funny mood today. She was so goofy and laughing hysterically so I had to capture some of it. I love when she is like this. It is the best! And tonight Todds sister Heidi had her baby. She lives in China so his birthday is actually June 1st. How weird huh?!? Ashton has a web cam on his computer so we all got to talk to them and see the baby with that. Its so sad that we cant be there, or, actually, that they aren't here, because none of us are moving to China any time soon. But we are so excited to have a new addition to the family. So Berkeley has 4 cousins on Todds side and 18 cousins on my side. She is very lucky!

My Latest Obsessions

• Forever 21...it is just the best store ever invented. I don't think I can pay more than $30 for a shirt ever again. They have really cute shirts for those of us her need to cover up our shoulders and tummys. It brings me joy to walk into the store of chaos and happiness at the same time.

• driving by my new house...yes I do it every day. It always seems to be on the way to somewhere or on the way home. It is just finishing up framing stages so we can walk through it. We try to figure out where we are going to put what. Its pretty fun. Todds latest thing is walk in the back yard and figure out how he wants to do the backyard.
  
• Target...there is always SOMETHING to buy, whether it is a cute shirt, a new movie, a baby toy, baby clothes, cheetah shoes, a bangle, a print cartridge, or a vacuum. I love the place!!
  
• Bracelets...These two are my fave. I have been wearing some kind of bangle or bracelet every day. I'm obsessed! They are so dang cute.

The Graduate

Ashton, Todds brother, officially graduated from high school. We are sad because he is going away for the summer and then off on his mission.

This here is our newest favorite thing. It is the Nintendo Wii. My mom and dad bought this for all her kids as a Christmas gift,(an early one) and we just got ours a couple of days ago. Let me just say, this little white box that you see has entertained Todd and I, as well as a few friends for three nights in a row. It comes with sports games like Tennis and golf, and well, we have been addicted to tennis. We have had full blown tennis tournaments and everything. It has been great. So thank you mom and dad for bringing some new adventure into our lives!!!

I know, Ive been a little post crazy the last couple days. Yes, I promise I have a life, but there are so many funny things to talk about!!! I just got this email today and I loved it, so I had to share a couple parts of it.

Ridiculously Creative

So I look at Heidi Swapp, who has her own scrapbooking company, at her blog every day, and today she made the CUTEST thing ever that I just had to share. Its a center piece for her kids to entertain themselves with. Why cant I be ridiculously creative like that?!?

Oh So Funny

Today I was doing my hair while Berkeley was crawling around and then I heard a thud, but no cry. I ran to the laundry room and found this. The rack fell on top of her, but missed any body part that would really get hurt. She didnt really know what to do with herself. It was pretty funny.

I Am Thankful

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE WIFE WHO SAYS IT'S HOT DOGS TONIGHT, BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME, AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE. FOR THE HUSBAND WHO IS ON THE SOFA BEING A COUCH POTATO, BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE FOR THE TEENAGER WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME, NOT ON THE STREETS. FOR THE TAXES I PAY BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM EMPLOYED. FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS. FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT. FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE. FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING, WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING, AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME. FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT BECAUSE IT MEANS WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. FOR THE PARKING SPOT I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION. FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM WARM. FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS I CAN HEAR. FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR. FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES AT THE END OF THE DAY BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD. FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE

Who are These People and Where Did They Come From?

Tonight Todd and I were eating dinner outside of a grocery store/restaurant enjoying our dinner. Then walks up a mother, holding her baby, but wait....shes also doing something else?!? As she approaches, I see her shirt rolled up exposing her whole stomach (to make matters worse, yes, it was extremely pale and chubby) Then as she walks right by me, I see her nursing her 9 month old baby, breast exposed and all. She didn't try to cover up what she obviously could have covered up. She seemed proud to show the whole world what was going on between her body parts and her baby. So naturally, I made Todd look because I had to share this abnormality with SOMEONE! About 5 minutes later she walks out of the store while "un-hooking" her baby. So then, it was FULL exposure for a few good seconds. She buckles up her bra, and puts her shirt back down, while standing next to her husband and 2 children. Oh no... there is more...She starts rubbing her breast like there is some kind of itch or pain, so she proceeds to take it out again, no baby around, and FIDDLE WITH IT!!! Folks, I am not joking! This is fully in a public place! She fiddles with it fully out for about a minute, in front of her husband, then decides she is done offending the WORLD and is done with the show while I, 20 feet away experienced the whole thing. Sheesh... where do these people come from!?!

My hubby and my baby

My mom got Berkeley her first American Girl doll for one of my showers. I decided to finally get it out and let her play with it. She was interested for a little bit, but then of course moved on. I wanted to capture her first time playing with a doll. I know I was OBSESSED with dolls growing up!

Now lets talk about the events that happened last night. The Suns. WOW. They were up buy about 10 more or less the entire game, and then the end of the game, of course, they lose it. I was so sad a bothered last night, I seriously didn't know what to do with myself. How did I become so obsessed?? Then of course there is LOST, which is always awesome. I am going to make the prediction that Charlie is NOT going to die, for those of you that watch. I am also going to make the prediction that Locke is NOT going to die either! I think that old guy that is a shooter WILL die, because they were foreshadowing that a bit. Now, American Idol. I'm not really that into the show. I just turn it on at the end to watch who gets kicked off. I'm excited because I am rooting for Jordan!! Shes from AZ, and shes an awesome singer, so its the whole package! I almost considered voting this week!

In other news, Todd finished his semester with a 4.0 AGAIN!!! He is doing SO good, I'm so proud of him. He starts up in a week and a half to start summer session. Its nice to have him back at nights, because for a while he was gone every night studying. He is also moving offices today. Their new office is on Val Vista and Baseline, right next to all my favorite places to eat, so I can foresee lots of lunch dates. Its good for Todd because he had an office in Queencreek and an office in Down town Mesa, and now he will just have the one. So not as much driving around for him. I am so proud of him and what he has accomplished. He is such a hard worker and is always determined to achieve more!

Sad but Funny

Today I was at the mall just strolling around and I had a BIG diet coke in a cup, straw, and lid and all that jazz. My cup holder was too small for it so I had to tuck it in right in a little crevice above Berkeley's head. Well she started crying, so I had to lay her down and give her a bottle, then she was happy. Little did I know, that the crevice shifted, slowly pouring diet coke all over Berkeley. Literally 10 minutes later, I realized what was going on. I lifted her up and she had coke in her hair, down her WHOLE shirt, down her diaper, and all over her shorts. The worst was that her back was bright red from the ice being so cold on her skin. I couldn't just take all of her clothes off in the middle of the mall, so I had to walk across the whole mall to get to the car, then I took them off and changed her diaper. Her clothes were soaked and her stroller was soaked. It was the saddest thing, but I really wish someone was there to laugh about it with me. I tried telling a worker at Nordstrom but she just looked at me weird. My sweet daughter was a trooper and didn't cry or whine. Good times at the mall!

I Love the Suns!

OH MY GOSH! What an amazing game tonight was....well, the last quarter I should say. I love watching Suns basketball and I have never been so into a pro team and never had such heart as I do for them! Just picture me, in my kitchen, jumping up and down with my hands up in the air screaming tonight, because thats what happened when they won! It was so much fun. I now have a headache and my throat hurts from screaming.

New Found Respect

So Todd and I were at the bookstore the other day and he bought me a very detailed instruction book to go along with my camera. So I whip it out the other day and OH MY GOSH! This stuff is SO hard to learn, let alone memorize! I now have a new found respect for photographers. It is so detailed and confusing it really discouraged me. If I learn a tenth of what there is to learn, I will be so happy and hopefully I will have amazing pictures.

On another note, Greys was good last night! Pretty dramatic I will say. I shed tears a couple times throughout the show.... again, I will say. I'm totally over Meredith. She is a weak person and she does not deserve McDreamy! Its so funny how much I analyze these people, considering they are fictional characters. But its so funny, a friend and I were totally having a conversation about all of them and the dumb things they do, and then we realize maybe we are the dumb ones because we were actually having the conversation about them. Its just so funny, and I am SO guilty of caring about them too much!

And last, I wish all you Mom's a Happy Mothers Day. I feel like my job is the easiest in the world, and the best in the world. I am so grateful to be a mother and that I can stay at home and spend all my time and teach my baby everything about life. Happy Mothers Day!

I went to a wedding this past weekend and I got to keep the center piece. These flowers are so beautiful and they light up my house so much. I LOVE flowers SO much!

Recipe Book

I was sick of all my recipes being in every drawer in my kitchen, so I made this up real quick to sovle my problem! It turned out really cute and its making me want to cook lots more!!

I Cant Believe!!!!

I cant believe... that Berkeley is officially crawling! She just started this week, and it is so cute and fun! You can tell she is so happy and so stoked to be discovering this whole new world. And of course, what would crawling be without getting into the dog food and eating it TWICE! And least it makes her teeth shiny!

I cant believe... that I committed to singing at a wedding this Saturday. I mean, was I thinking when I said yes? I love singing, and I performed in front of people all my life. But I haven't done it since....high school! I hope it goes OK!

I cant believe...that Todd has been to the library every night this week until midnight! I feel so bad for him. He even cancelled our tickets to a play off Suns game to study! Now that's a hard core student!

I cant believe...The Warriors beat the Mavs tonight!!! What is going on! OK, you know what this means, Suns TOTALLY have a chance winning the whole thing! Im so excited I really dont know what to do with my self.

I cant believe... That Grey's Anatomy was SO lame tonight. OK, we get it, Addison is doing a spin off show. Good for her, I just want to watch my show when the title is Greys Anatomy. And no, I didnt cry at all during the episode.... ( why am I so stinkin emotional!)
