Christmas Day

We had such a good christmas! We were in California and spent the week there with my family and it was very eventful. We spent a lot of time with family, eating, and playing games. Berkeley got a packet of baby einstein dvd's and she LOVES them. She will just sit and watch the movie and just laugh at it. It is the cutest thing ever! Then my sister made her an adorable quilt that she cant appreciate yet but I am in love with.

Christmas week

Its officially the week of Christmas and that means a week of chaos!! Berkeley and I are now in California for the rest of the holiday and it has been very busy so far. We drove this time, and drove straight to my cousins house for a little girl tea party. Of course Berkeley didnt really participate, but she enjoyed watching all the little girls. Today she took her offical first adult bath with me. She could not get the big smile off of her face because she loved it so much. And she is so light that she kept floating the to surface, but it was still a fun adventure for her. Todd is going to come into town on Thursday night so we will be excited to see him because I am missing him pretty bad already! Hope everyone is having a good Christmas week!!!

Pierced Ears

Shes officially a girl! I took her last friday to get her ears pierced and they look pretty dang cute. She really looks girly now. She cried a little bit but it was more of a wimper then anything. I did feel really bad though. On another note, Todd just finished all finals except for one and he Aced all of his classes. Im really proud of him! He is relieved to be done but he starts another cram session class for 3 weeks on December 27th. But hes doing good. Hope everyones december is going good!

First Whittier Trip

We went to Whittier to be in the Christmas parade with my mom so here are some parade pictures along with people who love her!!

How Many kids do I want again???

I would have to say that today was probably the most chaotic day of my life. I am out here in California for the weekend visiting family and my sister needed my help. So the day started with her telling me I had to be at her house one hour earlier than expected to take her to the airport. So I show up with hair totally wet and not even done sort of, no make up, and Berkeley is still in PJ's. Then with 3 of her kids and Berkeley in tow, we go to Jon her husbands work to pick him up only to find out we are an hour early. Explains my sometimes ditzy sister. So we go to lunch and eat it in the car, while Berkeley is crying and the kids all need there separate sauces that I have to hand out to them. Then we finally get to the airport and drop off my sister. Note, that my sister has a baby that is 14 months old, and then there is 2 month old Berkeley. So, kind of hard. Then take Brynn to dance with the kids, come home, clean like crazy and get them all ready to go to a church dinner. Go to the church dinner, feeding the 14 month old while he is in the stroller, holding Berkeley, trying to have a conversation with my brother I have not seen, and getting shoes handed to me by the other 2 kids. Then my mom shows up with 2 more kids and it only got more fun there. So tomorrow we are all going to be in the Whittier Christmas parade with my mom, and guess who gets to get 6 kids ready and out the door by 9am?? Yep ME!!! What a vacation!

Christmas has Begun

So I guess its officially christmas time, even though it is still November. I swear Chirstmas starts earlier and earlier every year. My street already has the cheesy blow up characters and christmas lights, I already got a christmas card in the mail, and christmas music has been going for the last 2 weeks. I love christmas, its just the world needs to be a little patient. So therefore I feel the pressure to catch up so I put up decorations today and went and got half of my shopping done today, and again, its still November. But it still did get me in a cheery mood listening to the music and turning my house into a house of red and green. I do have some "christmas goals" this year. 1. Stick to a budget 2. Provide good deeds for a family, maybe even more 3. Attend a musical christmas event ( hopefully the messiah) 4.Start a family tradition for my family 5. Remember the true meaning of christmas 6. Watch LOTS of christmas movies. So on that note, Merry Christmas everyone and have a good holiday season!!

New York City!!!

We are officially in New York City right now for Thanksgiving weekend and we are having so much fun! We got here Wednesday night and went straight to dinner at Del Friscos which was LITERALLY the BEST steak I have ever had in my life. The stretchy pants could not have been better on the airplane. I of course held her about 95% of the time, but she didn't make a peep the entire time, except for the occasional coo and ahhh. On thanksgiving we attempted to go to the Macys parade, but if you saw on TV the weather was HORRIBLE and was pouring the entire time, so we stayed for about a half hour, got soaking wet and went home. Berkeley slept throught the whole thing, did not get one drop on her, and had no idea the horrible conditions that were going on around her. For dinner we had it at our hotel which was great. Then we went to the Broadway show Mary Poppins. Todd had to stay home with her because the tickets specifically said NO BABIES. But today we broke that rule when we went to Beauty and the Beast and put her on a harness on my chest, and I put Todds jacket on me and smuggled her in. It was pretty funny. So we have been having a great time. A great way to spend Thanksgiving. Now its officially Christmas, so........... Merry Christmas!!!!! Pictures will come soon....

Yeah New PJ's!! She is fitting in 3-6 months clothes. Shes too young for that! I am sad that she is growing so fast. But shes nice and happy and comfy cozy in them. Today she talked the most that she ever has. For about 45 minutes we sat with her on the bed and she cooed to us the ENTIRE time. Its fun that she is finally interacting with us because then it feels like she is a real human.

Stretchy Pants

I always call my baby girl different nick names throughout the day. I rarely call her by her name. Sometimes when she is fussy I will call her fussy pants, and when she is spazzy, spazzy pants. So when I was changing her diaper, she kept stretching and stretching, so naturally I called her stretchy pants. So far this has been my favorite nick name and now it has stuck. So now my daughters name is stretchy pants.
