my amazing mother was honored a couple of weeks ago by the california utah women {its an lds organization} at the disneyland hotel. they choose a woman that lives in southern california that has been a mother, served the church, and has served the community. my mom of course is amazing in all 3 of these areas....
it was really quite overwhelming how many people were actually there, and it made me realize that MY mother was chosen out of thousands of women, how special she really is, and reminded me of the amazing life that she has had. our whole family attended, as well as some of my moms colleges. it was a really special day, and i was so glad i could be there to support my mom.

wow that is really awesome! well too bad i missed you, but i swear if the weather sucks all week i will be down to see you next week! i can't take it!
Jillian! What an honor. Really, that is so great for moms to be recognized for service. And...to have it be your own mom is something special.
