My poor sweet girl has just gotten over her second set of ear infections in both ears, and let me tell you, it is NOT fun. For about 2 weeks, she has been crying, literally, about half of the day, and the other half she is wanting me to hold her constantly. She took some antibiotic that was so strong that it made her get a yeast infection in her mouth, which is very painful and very stinky. She totally smelled like a sick child. It was gross. She does not want anyone else to hold her either, which is worse! Finally 3 days ago, she was Berkeley again and it has been so fun! I forgot how funny and full of personality she is because I had not seen it for so long. Then this morning she woke up with goopy eye (don't know the actual medical term) and now we have to go to the doctor AGAIN! I hope it is nothing that bad, but knowing how things have been, she will probably have pink eye or something fun like that! But these couple days that I have had of her feeling good have been the best and the funniest! But because of her illnesses Todd and I have both gotten sick...some serious colds. That's why our house is referred to the sick house right now. So you can only imagine what our lives have been like the last week.
Update:
Berkeley still has ear infections in both ears....this is 5 weeks now and counting. And it is currently 10:45pm, and she is still not asleep. Her bedtime is 8. Im going CRAZY!!!

THAT is where you have been. Thanks for the heads up on a clear STAY AWAY FROM YOUR HOME. Poor berks- I hope it's not pink eye. Can I bring you lysol wipes and spray tomorrow?? And I'm serious here. You probably can't get out to the store...what can I bring you??? Those pics of Berkeley are so freakin cute. Where did you get that cute brown shirt? love ya-miss ya.
I am so sorry to here about all of the sickness...It seems like it is really going around! Those pictures are so cute of Berks...gald you at least had her back for a few days!
sounds JUST like our house. goopey eyes and ear infections. Luke has been taking eye drops and meds too and they got rid of it pretty quick. I hope she gets better soon. sick babies are so hard.
I'm going to email you about what to do when she is on an antibiotic....it has saved me with Ava and it totally works!
Ava has been down too and I haven't left the house! I'm gettin' a little stir crazy so I feel ya'!!! Hang in there!!!
That sucks. I'm lucky, Duke has been healthy as a horse this winter. I'm grateful for that.
So sad! Nothing is worse than a sick baby. Aw, especially ear infections! Good luck with that!
What a bummer it is so hard when everyone is sick. but isnt it wierd how you can be so tierd and worn out and ready to give up and she smiles up at you of giggles and everything is ok! Glad you had that for 3 days. I hope everyone feels better soon
