My Recent Random Thoughts

After much thought and consideration we are no longer buying our house. Todd was not in love with it and since we bought it, the market has gone even lower, so its not as good as a deal as we thought, so no more new house. It is probably a good thing, because I just know to always trust Todd on this kind of stuff and it will work out. But I am sad, and I have had a little going away party in my heart for my house that I never lived in.

I know its not anytime soon, but seriously, when is this hot weather going away! Every summer I try to remind myself why I live here and why thousands of other people live here too. Its pretty frightening to think that if power went out, people would just start going crazy left and right because it is just so insanely hot. Today I got home from just normal day to day things, and I was SOAKED in sweat! I'm so over this heat right now! I'm ready to wear my black long sleeve shirts, my awesome assortment of hoodies, jeans, and closed toed shoes for once!

Tonight was my first soccer practice as a real coach and it got me thinking about how much I loved playing soccer as a kid. I miss being on a team and playing a sport I love, and getting the rush that comes with it. Why don't they do these kinds of leagues for adults. You know half of us adults are totally still wishing we were 16 again.... I guess they do make the leagues, they are just so minute that you don't ever hear about them, let alone participate in them. I just wish I did a once a week thing...I would love it so much.

Why is it that every year around fall the TV season premieres start a little bit later and later. Its driving me inane how long I have patiently waited for my favorite shows to come back into my life. The networks need to stop teasing me with their trickery and get cracking all ready!

I bet your awesome at soccer. Maybe we should get all the girls together and have a tennis night. Maybe even have lessons. We could do it next door. What do you think? I think it would be a blast. I know Haylie know's how to play, Brooke had lessons when she was young (like when she was 7 or 8) anyway lets talk about it and see who might be interested.

I am so with you on the whole tv thing...I am dying for all of them to come back! It is such torture to sit and watch previews and see them everywhere in magazines! I am coming out for my fall break in Oct. and for my birthday so I am way excited to get together with you guys...BTW I am way jealous that you live so close to Amie now:)

How fun that you are a coach with your bro! Last year Rob and I played on a co-ed soccer team with all of our friends and it was SO much fun! Half of us had never played before, so to say we weren't great would be a HUGE understatement, nonetheless it was so fun! I would love to play again, but now I don't know how I would do it with little man Clark! I too am dying for LOST to start back up, thank heavens The office is starting back up next week!

the TV thing irritates me too! Pretty soon it will be Thanksgiving before we will see any new stuff! ;) Plus, that 'fall break' that all of the good shows take. What's that?

i totally agree with you in that soccer thing, and wishing i was doing something once a week like being on a team again, or a dance class, or tennis class, or volleyball, and soccer, or an art class. I love that your a coach for soccer right now! how did you do that?? i want to sign up for that. I need something to do other than work. and im trying to figure it out. anyways, good for you, let me know if i can help, if you need an assistant coach! haha
