I Love Spontaneity

We just got back from such a fun trip. Saturday night Todd realized that he doesn't have school the next week, so we think, lets go to California! Usually when we go we stay with my parents, but this time we wanted it to feel like a BIG vacation. So we stayed in Santa Monica right off the beach. The weather was beautiful, we couldn't have asked for anything better. The first day we did the beach and the pool, which is so different once you have a baby. No more laying out and relaxing for hours on end....sad! But it was still fun to take her for the first time. We also went to Universal Studios for my first time. Very fun and interesting. No roller coasters, so Todd was OK with it. ( hes scared....don't tell anyone!) Then on the way back we stopped by UCLA because Todd wants to apply there for MBA school and it is beyond BEAUTIFUL!! It sits smack dab in the middle of Bel Air, so we drove in the neighborhoods and could not believe our eyes! We also did some shopping and we ate at some fun places. It was a nice spontaneous trip which makes it 10 times better!!
