Warm and Fuzzy

I just rented this movie this last weekend and it was one of the sweetest movies I have ever seen. If you want to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and shed a couple of tears, rent this movie. It is AMAZING!

Flashback Friday

I still cant believe that I am showing these pictures to the world, but if you cant make fun of yourself than you have no sense of humor at all right? These pictures are my school pictures starting from 8th grade going to Junior year. On the positive side you can say that I improved throughout the years, and you can now realize how truly thankful I am for accutane!!!

One Year Older and Wiser Too!

Well I am now the big 25. As both of my parents put it, I am a quarter of a century old. CRAZY!!! My sweet girlfriend Jenna gave me these glasses for my birthday. They were so fun! I had to let everyone around me know that it was my birthday. I guess I am somewhat of a "brat" when it comes to my birthday because I start talking about it usually 1 or 2 months in advance, so Todd always gives me a hard time about it and our friends have nick named it the Jillian birthday extravaganza. Whatever though....it makes it that much more fun. My day began with a trip to Chuck E Cheese which was a blast. Berkeley loves it there and she loves being with her cousins even more!!

This is my crazy nephew Ridge who climbed in here all my himself and decided to go through the basketball hoop. He is seriously one of the craziest kids I have EVER seen.

Then Todd took me to dinner for my birthday. It was sweet. He also surprised me with a card and a couple movies when I woke up and let me sleep in a little. What a good hub!

A Few of my Favorite Things

Photography...someday I want to be a photographer, and until then I will just take more and more pictures.

MAC mineral powder. Last time I went to get new powder I went out on a limb and tried something new and I am absolutely in love with it. It goes on velvety and smooth and makes my skin look way better than it used to. And its good for your skin!

My Helen Ficalora necklace. That bad boy never leaves my neck and it looks cute with workout clothes, a swim suit, dressed up or dressed down. I am obsessed!

Boden clothing for little girls. It is so dang cute. I have never bought any...but I hope to in the near future.

Anything gold. I am obsessed with gold. I wear it every day in some form or another.

Painted furniture. My favorite piece in my whole house is Berkeley's dresser that my brother made that is a celery green. It is so adorable and I will have it forever.

Anything with birds on it. I have used it in my decorating and in my scrapbooking and I absolutely love the look.

My sister "tagged" me to do some of my favorite things, and that is not including people.

Girls Camp

Wow....what an interesting experience girls camp was! Overall, it was fun and a super good experience, and I knew that I was supposed to be there. But....we did have a little run of bad luck! When we first got up there I was moving my mattress and something was wet underneath it that my hands were touching, so I look and I see that it is urine, and it is ALL OVER MY HANDS!!! It was very stinky too. So I had to walk like 50 yards to get to the actual bathroom and wash my hands. It was so gross. Then I got back to my room and saw a couple of ants above my bed, so I started spraying them. Then hundreds and hundreds of ants started swarming out, so we kept spraying and spraying and more and more came out. As they started to die, they were all falling on my clothes and my bed. It was disgusting. At the end of the ant infestation, there were huge piles of dead ants on the ground. We found out later that just DAYS before there had been a mountain lion roaming the camp, and he killed a deer and kept it under the cabin right next to us, so that is why there were so many ants! Gross, gross, gross. Then the last bit of bad luck was that one of my girls accidentally locked my keys in my car. So being that we were in the middle of nowhere I was pretty freaked out. But after a day and a half I called my insurance and got a tow truck driver out to unlock the car. So that wasn't too bad.

On a good note I got to do really fun things. The first day I went repelling for the first time ever which was a blast, the second day we went to the most beautiful lake and went swimming and canoeing, and then the third day we hiked 2 miles to a huge waterfall and went swimming there. I was in charge of 4 girls from my ward, and we had a good time together. No drama or excessive complaining, so that worked out good.

Our Recent Life

This is the foam pit...when the adults would go in we would completely sink to the bottom and not be able to get out. It was pretty freaky.

Thursday I went to an open Gymnastics gym and I went with my sis in law Brooke and her 3 kids, my friend Cassi and her little girl, and my friend Krista and her 2 little boys. It was so much fun for the kids. Berkeley was pretty stoked on the whole thing. After we hit up some delish Cafe Rio for lunch. Im not going to lie....one of the things I am going to miss immensely is my precious Cafe Rio!!!

This is Berkeley's elmo chair....she pulls it all around the house and will just sit in it and hang out. She takes it into the bathroom even!

Berkeley has this new thing where she wants to sit indian style....she cant do it completely so she has to get her hands and adjusts her legs accordingly. Its a crack up.

Todd and I went to a really fun concert and had to show our support with the matching shades.
Todd's brother and his friend Andy like to rock the shades on a daily basis.

It's a Girl Thing

And the Final Decision Is...

We are moving to San Diego!!!! August 15th.....I only have 2 more months here, and when Todd told me the date my stomach about dropped. It all the sudden came so soon. But on the good side....we are moving to San Diego!!! Honestly, I could not ask for a better place to live. I am genuinely SO excited to move there. Todd will be going to the University of San Diego and he is very happy with his decision, so it is a win win situation. I am definitely going to cherish my last 2 months here very much. Warning....I am going to try and take as many pictures of all our friends as I can so I can remember what good friends and memories we have had here. I am going to miss every single last person that lives here! I guess the coolest thing of all is that San Diego is a huge vacation spot, so I think we will be able to see lots of friends a lot!!!

Cousins are the Best

As Berkeley has gotten older I just love to see her interact with other kids but especially with her cousins. Berkeley loves to see her cousins and always cries when she has to leave them. She especially loves going to my sister's house and playing with my sisters 2 little ones that are around her age. This last trip to California was definitely fun to see Berkeley with them. She is so sweet around other kids, and she loves to copy other kids. When her cousin Brynn was doing hand clapping games with another girl Berkeley came along and started doing it with them. At the pine wood derby she got up at the top of the race track and stood next to her cousin Braden. When Tanner would play the Wii and swing around the remote Berkeley would grab one and join right in. She is so sweet, and so playful. I could not ask for a sweeter little person to be around 24 hours of my day!

Relief....

I am finally relieved and relaxed... the day after I got home from my cruise I left for California yet again to watch my sisters kids for a few days. Well my "few day" trip turned into a week, and so I was gone from home for about 10 days. I completely neglected all of my house wife duties including banking, bills, my calling, and obviously all the laundry and house cleaning. Yesterday I was so excited to finally come home and be back to normal again when I realized I had a good couple days ahead of me of catching up. So all day yesterday and today I have been cleaning...over and over again, doing about 8 loads of laundry, taking care of a sick baby, unpacking, paying bills, taking Berkeley to the doctor, getting ready for girls camp, and trying to catch up on all my tivoed shows that I missed.

Poor Berkeley has an ear infection that we have tried to treat once, and didn't go away, so we are on our second round of antibiotics. She has been uncomfortable for quite some time now! I feel so bad for her, she always seems sick! I would be miserable if I was always sick.

So now I finally feel relief as I have gotten most everything done and taken care of. Now I need to focus on girls camp that is in 2 weeks and get myself and my girls ready for that!!!!

On another note....it is about 85% sure that we are going to attend University of San Diego Law School!!!! We are so excited. I have been imagining living in San Diego and it makes me so happy! Its perfect weather, perfect atmosphere, good location, tons of things to do, and still not across the country from our families!! We are very excited to start the next phase in our lives!!
