This is my newest desire. I saw it yesterday at the mall and about died! Its huge, its like 14" tall and I want it so bad. My birthday is in a couple of months, maybe I can talk Todd into it!!

My life as a mother and a teacher...in the last 2 days

Catch up on the last few days...lets start with Sunday. I'm at church by myself because Todd woke up really sick. I brought Berkeley, I don't know why (yes I do...so she can wear her really cute new church dress) and I tried to deal with her and my 6 four year old primary kids all by myself. That was a mistake! Such a mistake that the second counselor had to come up to me during sharing time and tell me basically don't come by myself...apparently it was a little out of control. I was bugged and annoyed, so by the time class came I completely gave up the lesson all together and let the kids color and read books the whole time. The 2 bad kids started bullying Berkeley and I almost smacked them! Then with a half hour left Todd showed up to the rescue and I finally got my sanity back slightly. Then went to my brothers house for dinner and visited my parents and showed them the model to our new house that we are going to move into someday... Today was typical mom day. I was at home until 3:00!!! I was stir crazy I will say. Berkeley took 2 naps and one of them was 3 hours long, which she never does. So I played games on the computer for a good hour, did some chores, but they were basically all done, then played around with my camera, hence the new profile picture.... all the while with no food in my stomach. Don't worry, I'm not anorexic. I started a new weight loss program that lasts 9 days. The first 2 days are "cleanse" days where you only drink "their" drink and no food. Today was one of those days. Its hard, but its worth it because it is working!!!

Fun Day at the Zoo...Well, Sort of...

Today my friend Krista and I decided to go to the zoo. This morning we were contemplating if we should even go because it was cloudy outside, but it hadnt rained yet, so we decided to go. We ended up taking my 3 neices, and Krista brought her friends little 2 year old girl, and then our 2 babies. My car was stuffed with 3 car seats, 6 kids, and 2 strollers. So we get the the zoo and it is of course, pouring rain. So we waited in the car for a while and it cleared up. We walked around the zoo for about a half hour and then it started POURING. We got stuck under a tent for about 15 minutes, and then we left. My shoes were FULL of water and my jeans were wet up to my knees, on of the little girls wet her pants, then juggling with the 2 babies was quite a challenge. All in all, it was fun to see the animals, but I learned a great lesson....if it looks like its going to rain, it probably is going to rain!!!

Hanging out with the Big Kids

Not too much has been going on in our lives this last week. My sister had her baby last friday...Carly Catherine, so thats fun, but they are in California so I havent seen her yet. Im excited to go there in a couple weeks and see the new baby. Just been running errands and visiting family and friends...the typical life Berkeley and I lead. Today she visited her cousins and she loves to be around other kids. She just lights up...its so sweet! Its like she knows they are her family. Todd has been really busy as always....getting home at like 7 every night. But its okay, he is working hard so I dont mind.
