Peculiar Play Time

Here is my goofy child. She has recently discovered that she can fit under beds, and she just discovered hiding under her bed. She hid down there until I found her. We were playing a game of hide and seek and she did not make a peep the whole time.

Then there is the extra goofy side of her where she uses her imagination a lot. She loves to play with dolls and figurines, and make them give each other hugs and kisses, and always has to distinguish between daddy, mommy, and the baby. I thought this was a quite interesting place for her baby!

Its 10 pm and Todd is still not home. His day is now officially 13 hours long. I just miss him sometimes!

My Cute Little Ladybug

Halloween was pretty funny this year. I really thought Berkeley would be all about everything, but she was very calm, and almost not excited about the whole thing. She got way more excited about going to the pumpkin patch than actual trick or treating. Our ward had a party right next door at the park, so we spent our whole night over there. Berkeley went around the party stealing hot dogs, suckers, candy, and cupcakes from who knows who! Then she trick-or-treated at the park in a large circle. It was actually quite nice because then we didn't have to walk around the neighborhood. She lasted about an hour and a half at the party, and by 6:30 she was done with the whole Halloween thing. She cracks me up......

This is the "scary man" in front of the house that she alwasy says hi too. It will be a sad day when we put scary man away.

Just Because we are Always PC Around Here

Given the hype of our current election, we could not have thought of better ideas for our pumpkins this year.

Halloween Treats

Todd's mom got the grandkids these darling Halloween gifts. They came with halloween books, stickers, coloring books, markers,candy, necklaces, and sticker books. They were really cute and the kids absolutely loved them.

Good Ol' AZ State Fair

Last night we went to the AZ fair to see Weezer and Angels and Airwaves. We barely got to see Angels, because we got there a little late...I had to have my foot long corn dog of course. But Weezer was unbelievable! They were so entertaining and funny. I laughed so hard probably 10 times throughout the concert. And because it was at the fair, it is for the most part no assigned seating, so we kind of snuck our way around and ended up about 7 rows back. The fair was of course so fun too, but the one thing that I was looking forward to the most....funnel cake....I didn't ever end up getting, so I was pretty bummed about that. But we had a great time!

Halloween Festivities

This year I feel like we have been a little more festive than normal years. Todd made this beautiful Halloween Gingerbread house, and was quite proud of it. He mentioned to all of us numerous times how symetrical it was and how creative it was. Then I made a Halloween wreath with my cousin. We got some inspiration from a magazine, but took off with our own ideas. Its hard to see, but it says Spooky.

Birthday Party

This last weekend Todd's sister had a birthday party for her kids Taylin and Brody. It was at the park right next door to our house. They had a bouncer, a pinata, and some games, and then dinner and cupcakes. It was Berkeley's first official Birthday party where she was a guest and she had so much fun. She loved the bouncer, and her attempt at the pinata was quite comical. She had a Halloween themed party, so I really wanted to be in charge of the cupcakes. I think I had a little too much fun doing the cupcakes. My favorite was the finger right on the top!

Our Unexpected Family Vacation

On a whim, we decided to come out to California. Todd had school off all this past week, and we were itching to go somewhere, so California sounded perfect. Then once that was an option, then Disneyland sounded so tempting. Every time we go with Todd's family he never gets to go because of school, so we thought it would be fun for him to go with us one time. As predicted, Berkeley had the time of her life. Todd loved being there with us maybe even more. The negative was though that it was literally 100 degrees that day in Anaheim which is UNHEARD of in October. So lucky us got to experience all of that. May I say, it was the most exhausted I have ever been at Disneyland. I think the heat combined with being pregnant just did me in. We still loved every second of it though.

My favorite part though was all the Halloween decor that they do during October, Especially the haunted mansion. They decorate it like the Nightmare before Christmas so it is a mix between Halloween decor and Christmas decor. I love every last detail of it!

Todd would never openly admit this, but after the rockets he got sick and maybe got a little scared.

I Know....I Know....

It's time for a new post. I KNOW! Part laziness combined with part simple life-ness is probably the reason. I have had a good taste of what it is like to have a husband in law school this week. From last friday night until this friday night Todd did not get home until midnight each night. The worst was some of the mornings he left before I woke up, so we literally spent zero time with each other.  It is truly sad having your husband sleep next to you, yet you don't talk to him or eat any of your meals with him or spend any time with him. Luckily he has fall break this next coming week so it will be nice for him and for me to have a break. As far as Berkeley and I, we are just hanging out as usual. She got another ear infection this week, which is no surprise in my book, we have had lots of sticker book time, time with her cousins,  walking the mall, and playing outside just a little thanks to this not to terrible I want to kill myself weather. I find myself getting gitty thinking about fall, cool weather, Halloween, playing at the park again, going on walks, and eating lots of pumpkin foods and delicious soups.
